International Transfer Students

Fast-Track Your Technology Master's Degree

The Touro University Graduate School of Technology (GST) welcomes international transfer students. Considering a career change or continuing your education? No tech background? No problem! Just one semester of prerequisites can prepare you to turn your fine arts or liberal arts BA into a Master’s in Technology — and fast-track your future success.

Starting at a new school is a big step—and we’re here to make it easier. The Transfer and Transition Student Support Program at Touro GST helps students transferring from other institutions or Touro programs adjust smoothly to graduate life.

Our team provides guidance on transfer credits, financial aid, scholarships, and academic advising, while connecting you with the people and resources that make GST special.

Through events, workshops, and mentorship, you’ll have opportunities to build connections, explore career pathways, and thrive in your new academic home.

At Touro GST, your journey continues—with support, community, and opportunity every step of the way.

Curricular Practical Training (CPT)

CPT is an integral part of the established curriculum for international students on F‑1 visas. With CPT, students can hold full- or part-time internships, work/study positions, or other roles, as long as the training:

  • Occurs before the program end date
  • Is central to the student’s course of study

Touro students can apply for the CPT (Professional Internship Experience) course from the first semester, if they are enrolled full-time and already have a job directly related to their degree.
